Invites submissions to the

THIRD INTERNATIONAL LITERARY COMPETITION

Titled

“PARTHENON MARBLES; A STORY ABOUT A THEFT OR A THEFT OF HISTORY?

Competition Guidelines:

1)       Writers of any nationality may take part in this competition, any age or gender with a single literary piece in Spanish, Greek or English which does not exceed ten pages in length and has not been published in the past or have taken part in any other competition waiting for a result. The literary piece can be in any literary format while the title is –
“PARTHENON MARBLES; A STORY ABOUT A THEFT OR A THEFT OF HISTORY?”

2)       Submissions should be typed and printed on one side of an A4 page, in single spaced lines, and be accompanied by a CD containing same in digital format directed (including a pseudonym) to the:

3)       Enclosed in the primary envelope there should be another sealed envelope containing a copy of the work, the title, the name of the author, their complete contact details including address, phone number, personal id number, email address as well as a brief biographical note.

4)       Entries will be accepted until 31^st December 2010 inclusive

AWARDS

The awards presentation will be on a date to be determined and will be presented in the following manner, separately for each language:

First Prize:

The winner will receive a medal as well as an award certificate

Second and Third Prize:

The writers will receive a medal as well as an award certificate

The awarded literary pieces will be published into an Anthology. The winners will receive 10 copies each and the rest of the books will be distributed to educational institutions, libraries and cultural centers.
