Multiple Drug Products by Flawless Beauty: Recall - Misbranded or Unapproved

ISSUE: Flawless Beauty, LLC is voluntarily recalling all lots of nineteen different products sold individually or as part of multi-unit kits alleged by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration ("FDA") to be misbranded or unapproved new drugs pursuant to the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. The FDA believes that these drugs present serious public health risks. View the recall notice for a complete list of affected products. To date, Flawless Beauty has not received any reports of adverse events related to this recall.
BACKGROUND:  All products were sold and distributed over the Internet to U.S. and foreign customers. All glutathione products were sold in multi-vial whitening kits, either alone or in combination with ampules of vitamin C and sterile water. Vials or ampules of vitamin C or sterile water purchased separately or as part of these whitening kits are also recalled:
RECOMMENDATION: Flawless Beauty is notifying its customers by sending recall letters and is arranging for return of all recalled products. Consumers, distributors & retailers that have the products which are being recalled should stop using & return to Flawless Beauty.

    JustFoodForDogs Voluntarily Recalls Three Daily Diets because of Possible Listeria monocytogenes Health Risk from Green Beans

    JustFoodForDogs (JFFD) of Los Alamitos, CA, is voluntarily recalling its Beef & Russet Potato, Fish & Sweet Potato and Turducken dog food meals in all sizes. JFFD uses 100% USDA and other restaurant grade ingredients in all of its pet food, and because the green beans used in these meals may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, the companyis alerting the public. Listeria monocytogenescan affect animals eating the product and there is risk to humans if they were to intentionally or unintentionally ingest the dog food or come into contact with contaminated feces from a pet that has eaten the food.

    Listeriosis is rare in dogs and when infected most dogs have mild symptoms such as diarrhea and vomiting, however, more serious symptoms are possible, such as fever, muscular and respiratory signs, abortion and even death. In addition to the possibility of becoming sick, such infected animals can shed Listeria monocytogenes through their feces and thus serve as a source of infection to humans, especially if they have not thoroughly washed their hands.

    Products Pacheco Inc. in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, is recalling the following products of PACHECO brand because they may contain undeclared allergens: Wheat, Soy, Egg, Milk and artificial coloring not listed: Red#40, Yellow#5, Yellow#6. People who have allergies to these foods run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.


    In accordance with a Consent Decree of Permanent Injunction ordered in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, Flawless Beauty, LLC is voluntarily recalling all lots of nineteen different products sold individually or as part of multi-unit kits alleged by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration ("FDA") to be misbranded or unapproved new drugs pursuant to the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. The FDA believes that these drugs present serious public health risks. To date, Flawless Beauty has not received any reports of adverse events related to this recall.
    The following products are subject to the recall and were sold and distributed over the Internet to U.S. and foreign customers. The web site of Flawless Beauty is www.flawlessbeautyandskin.com. All glutathione products were sold in multi-vial whitening kits, either alone or in combination with ampules of vitamin C and sterile water. Vials or ampules of vitamin C or sterile water purchased separately or as part of these whitening kits are also recalled
    Ottogi America, Inc. Issues Allergy Alert on Undeclared Milk in Rice Cake Soup

    Ottogi America, Inc. of Gardena, CA is recalling 6.40 ounce “Rice cake soup” food, because it may contain undeclared milk. People who have allergies to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

    The recalled “Rice Cake Soup” was distributed nationwide in retail stores. The product comes in a 6.40 ounce, yellow paper bowl package marked with Item No: 29409101 on the back with an expiration date of June 20th 2018 stamped under the case.

    No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

    The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the milk-containing product was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of milk. Subsequent investigation indicates the problem was caused by a misprinting in the company's packaging processes.
