Welcome to the latest edition of EYP’s newsletter. Below as ever are various links to a wide variety of opportunities, including a grant for photojournalists from Reuters, and if you fancy yourself as a movie critic check out the IFFR training project.
As we move into October EYP’s calendar is as busy as ever. Following a board meeting in Slovakia we look ahead to the European Youth Media Days taking place in Brussels.
This event, as ever, is a great chance for young journalists to learn and practice their skills, as well as making new friends and contacts along the way.
To anyone attending, we look forward to seeing you in a few weeks!
Also, the EYP board started preparing the General Assembly of our Member Organisations, which will take place in Antwerp, Belgium, on 25-26th of November. In this edition, we announce several related calls.
In addition to our usual activities, we have recently started a blog which seeks contributions from our network on a wide variety of topics and events taking place around Europe and beyond. The blog is being hosted on the EYP website and is aimed at engaging our many followers.
