“Russian-Vietnamese relations consist of a comprehensive strategic partnership and are based on the principles of friendship and mutual understanding. We continue to successfully develop our bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, science, technology and the humanitarian area. The implementation of the free trade area agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and Vietnam promotes our mutually beneficial cooperation.

We intend to continue working with our Vietnamese partners at the government level and on implementing new large-scale joint projects and initiatives.”

The message reads, in part:

“Russia and Kyrgyzstan share ties of friendship, partnership and alliance. I am sure that the continued development of our trade and economic cooperation and the implementation of major industrial and energy sector projects, and the deepening of integration within the Eurasian Economic Union are fully in keeping with our countries’ interests.

I am ready for active joint work to strengthen the entire spectrum of our bilateral relations

14 August 2017Meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental CouncilDmitry Medvedev: “In the first four months of the year, the volume of Eurasian Union’s domestic and foreign trade has grown by one fourth. All countries within the union, with no exceptions, have strengthened their position on foreign markets. The exports have increased by approximately ten percent. The commodity pattern is also changing for the best: increased have been exports of cars and equipment (by 34 percent), as well as food and agricultural production (by 26 percent), while the share of energy commodities is decreasing. It means that the volume of trade is becoming more evened out.”
