AHEPA Provides Meals to Those in Need following Irma; Disaster Relief Fund Opened in Wake of Hurricanes On the Monday following Hurricane Irma's path through Florida, AHEPA George Washington Chapter 16, Tarpon Springs, Fla., opened its chapter home to serve 100 meals to persons without electricity. During that week, the chapter fed more than 350 persons, some who were homeless, in partnership with a local food bank. Also, the Sons of Pericles from Tallahassee, Fla., arrived to deliver water and canned goods. AHEPA has opened its Emergency Relief Fund to provide assistance to hurricane victims.
