Η Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή, σε απάντηση στις εκκλήσεις των κρατών μελών να έχουν μεγαλύτερη ελευθερία στην απαγόρευση καλλιέργειας ΓΤΟ στην επικράτειά τους, προτείνει την τροποποίηση των κανόνων που ισχύουν. Στην εκδήλωση θα συμμετέχουν ειδικοί από πολλές χώρες της ΕΕ για να παρουσιάσουν τις προτάσεις τους για τη βελτίωση της θέσης της γυναίκας και την επίτευξη της ισότητας των φύλων.
